Location: Hedrick Ranch Nature Area, Santa Clara River near Santa Paula
Goal: The property was acquired through the Santa Clara River Parkway Program in [add dates here]. Approximately 14 acres of invasive weeds, including Arundo were removed from the property, and the ecological function was enhanced by installing native plant and pond habitat. Friends of the Santa Clara River are the stewards of the property.
